FS6 Community News and Updates Last week Monday, FS6 held our Cohort 5 culminating event as part of the Regenerative Food Systems Investment Forum. From the National Young Farmers Coalition: Yesterday, the USDA released the application for the second round of the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (“CFAP2”). CFAP2 directly reflects the asks we made of Congress and USDA to create an aid program that better supports small, diversified, and direct-market growers. It’s a huge win for our coalition. Thousands of young farmers who need support to keep their businesses running through the pandemic are now eligible for payments up to 10.6% of their 2019 revenue. WORKSHOP SERIES: How to Stay Healthy While Sheltering-In-Place FS6 friend and partner, Le'ola Wellness, is offering a four-part workshop series for businesses trying to keep their employees healthy in the times of COVID. Summary: This is such an interesting time to think about workplace wellness because the health of the work-from-home employee suddenly demands a lot more ownership from the individual. To show up as a productive cyber-team member, each person must also be successful at nourishing themselves, finding creative ways to exercise, and be actively supporting their immune system.
