FS6 announces the launch of their newest sponsored program - the Huhtamaki Circular Economy Startup Program - and the rollout of a rebrand!  We don't have to tell you that this past few months has been a whirlwind for the food and agriculture industry. Challenges and opportunities are surfacing and settling at an unprecedented rate, and we are all working together to emerge from all of this intact and revitalized, with a refreshed clarity about what is working and what needs to be changed, as we work together to feed the world. And as challenging as it has been, this new food landscape has given many of us the opportunity to look inward, to reassess our core values, our current trajectory, and how and why we do the work that we do. For Food System 6, part of this work has manifested in the launch of our newest program, which is being sponsored by Huhtamaki as part of their 100-year anniversary sustainability grant! The Huhtamaki Circular Economy Startup Program will be run by Food System 6 this fall, with the purpose of supporting the development of young and promising companies in the circular economy focused on ensuring a better, more sustainable future. Also, as you may have noticed, we rolled out a visual refresh this weekend! These changes reflect the revitalization and re-envisioning that we have been focused on recently and are part of a larger effort to iterate on our brand identity to continue to meet the evolving needs of our community. FS6 is a nonprofit based in the San Francisco Bay Area whose mission is to support impact-driven entrepreneurs as they transform how we grow, produce, and distribute food. The organization runs a comprehensive accelerator program that mentors entrepreneurs by coaching them through a wide range of business and organizational needs. FS6 also works to educate stakeholders on the unique capital needs as it relates to redefining the food system.
